Welcome to the North Face® Canadian Death Race, 10th Anniversary Edition!
BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
Know what you’re in for – read the rules and racer information thoroughly. YOU MUST ENTER WITH TOTAL COMMITMENT. Entry is non-transferable & non-refundable. Failure to toe the starting line is a DNF. No Refunds, No Substitions, No Exceptions and Absolutely No Whining. Please take the time to read the registration instructions and get it right. Fees will apply if we have to fix your registration for you!
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
FOR ALL RACERS
• Registration is only available online with Visa or Mastercard.
• FEES :
Adult Solo & Relay Entry: $350(+gst)/per person.
Adult Solo & Relay Lottery Ticket: $10(+gst)/per person.
Kids Race Entry $35(+gst)/per kid.
Training Camps: $100(+gst)/per person.
All fees in Canadian Dollars. GST is currently 5%.
• REGISTER EARLY
The race fills up fast!! The race claims only 1500 lucky souls. The first successful registrants will be granted entry. The remaining will be chosen by lottery.
• LOTTERY
A certain number of race spots are available to the first racers to register in the Adult Race Solo and Relay Categories. Entering the lottery requires a complete registration form. The ticket price is non-refundable, but will be applied to your race fee if you are granted entry. The ticket covers the per-entry cost of online registration. 100% of any profits generated from the sale of lottery tickets goes to support local charities.
• UNDER 18?
You must be at least 16 years old on Race Day (August 1, 2010) to participate in the adult Death Race. If you are under 18 at the time of registration, your waiver form must be competed, signed by a parent, and submitted to the Race Office by mail or fax by July 1st, or you will be removed from the roster.
• KIDS RACE
The kids race is open to 350 kids this year. No lottery for the kids race - Registration closes when race is full. Parents - Don't forget to submit waivers before July 1st! FOR RELAY TEAMS
• REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY
Each team participant must register individually and accept the waiver. One Adult Racer = 1 account with unique username and password. There is no "TEAM ENTRY" form - All members must be registered (i.e. one person's entry does not guarantee or reserve spots for the others).
• A RELAY TEAM
is made up of 2-5 individually registered racers registering under the same team name.
• SPELLING COUNTS
Make sure everyone SPELLS THE TEAM NAME THE SAME! Five Jive Guys is not the same as 5 Jive Guys, and the system is NOT case sensitive.
• CHECK THE ROSTERS
(updated regularly online), to ensure your team lineup has been entered correctly, and correct your info online. Do this well before the June 1st deadlines.
• TEAM CAPTAIN
Team Captains are the main contact for Race Management and is responsible for ensuring a correct, final line-up before June 1st. We will assume the Team Captain speaks for the entire team.
• LINEUP MUST BE FINAL BY JUNE 1st.
Lineup changes are not allowed after this date! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that your lineup is registered correctly on the rosters prior to this date. Incomplete teams will be dissolved or disqualified.
• DON’T FORGET TO VOLUNTEER!
Racers who also volunteer are entered for a chance to win their race fees back.
• “JOIN TEAM” RACERS
Wanna race, but don’t have enough friends crazy enough to join you? Individuals without a team may register in the “join team” relay category , and we’ll guarantee you a place on a mixed team. Please check-in at Friday night registration to receive your team assignment.

Jan 1 REGISTRATION OPENS
June 1 Database Freeze - No entries or changes accepted after June 1st. All team line-ups must be finalised online by June 1st.
RACE ROSTERS
Your registration is not complete until your name appears correctly on the RACE ROSTERS. Verify that your entry has been accepted and correctly listed. These sheets are updated approximately every two weeks. Each time you visit these pages, be sure to click the REFRESH button on your web browser to make sure you get the latest information. If your registration is flagged with an error, follow the instructions provided to make the correction.
CATEGORIES SOLO
Top 3 male & top 3 female Ages: 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79
RELAY: Top female, male & mixed teams
Seniors: Combined age of all racers on race day 300 yrs+
