HELP NOTES... Now what?

Please coordinate with your Team Captain before contacting us individually…AT THIS POINT, ONLY TEAM CAPTAINS SHOULD BE EMAILING US ABOUT TEAM STUFF.    Please include as many details as possible so we can help you!

TEAM ROSTERS

Team Rosters are available in 3 formats, very helpful for figuring out where the errors are.  

- COMPILED TEAMS: There should be one name for each leg, in the correct order.  If not, please confirm your leg assignment with your Team Captain. Login to canadiandeathrace.com and edit your registration. 

- TEAM SORT:  This will show all the runners assigned to this team and their leg assignment.  Again, there should be one runner assigned per leg.

- NAME SORT: Racers listed alphabetically. 

 

TEAM CAPTAINS

- Please do not send us emails about changes to your running order at this time. please EDIT YOUR REGISTRATION to update the lineup in the Team Captain registration. NOTE that  this is just reference for us, it does NOT change the Roster.

- To make changes to your running order, EACH TEAM MEMBER must also edit their update their leg assignment. 

- You will have until June 1st to make running order changes online (deadine extended to June 10th).

 

CORRECTING ERRORS

Most of the errors have to do with TEAM LEG ASSIGNMENTS

i.e.

Problem:  Racers signed up for multiple legs.   Only ONE RACER PER LEG.

Fix:  Confirm lineup with Team Captain.  Each racer needs to edit their registration to correct their team assignment.  

 

HOW DO I EDIT MY REGISTRATION DETAILS?

To edit your registration details, login to your account. 

Login:  www.canadiandeathrace.com/user

Look on the right navigation panel for the  EDIT MY REGISTRATION link.

 

You MAY change:  

 - Your leg assignment

 - Update your contact details (email, phone number, postal address)

 - Update your bio and health information notes. 

You MAY NOT change: 

 - Your name, Your date of birth, your racing category or your team name (email us to request the change)

 

INCOMPLETE TEAMS 

Remember, there are NO SUBSTITUTIONS, and no new registrations are accepted post-lottery.  If your team is incomplete, one of your team members should be prepared to step up and run the extra leg.   If this is not possible, please leave that leg BLANK and TEAM CAPTAIN can request a replacement, and we can try to match you up with other teams in similar circumstances.  If you request a replacement, please note  that we cannot guarantee you a replacement or the competitiveness of racer we place with you. This is at the discretion of Race Management, and we may dissolve your team and place you in the Racer Pool to form new teams.  If your missing runner was registered in the lottery, please let us know, so we can find their registration.

WHEN ARE ROSTERS POSTED?
Rosters posted online are not just a list of who's signed up. Rosters are generated from our race management and timing database, so when you check the Rosters, you are verifying your info where it counts. It's a multi-stage process getting there, and we have to get each step right. All the steps that are taken between the time you register online and roster posting are necessary and for a very good reason -- it's part of the "magic" that makes everything come together on race day. Clean Data In = Clean Timing Results Out. The Death Race has never been about instant gratification.

WHEN ARE ROSTERS UPDATED?
Once the initial rosters are posted, we try to update every other week, more often as the June 1st deadline approaches. The time and date of the most recent update is posted on the ROSTERS page. Be sure and refresh your browser and reload the page, or you might see information from the last time you checked.
